The Teen Challenge  Ministry

The Tanzanian Teen Challenge Ministry has been established in Tanzania by pastor John Komanya and the headquarters is in the U.S.A.  it concerns the youth who have lost their direction in life and have involved themselves in  drugs and things of such nature, I use to live such a life of buying ,selling and using drugs, traveling around the globe in Africa as well as Europe, but Jesus changed my life ,set me free ,healed me  and changed my direction , that’s why when I came in touch with this ministry here in the U.S.A.  I was challenged enough to come to a point of saying my fellow brethren must also be set free from drugs and prostitution especially those people whose lives are far away from God.

The ministry of teen challenge receives them and minister to their needs  with the love of Jesus. Most of these people have been separated from family ,societies, friends and more, but with the love of Jesus the teen challenge ministry has opened the door for them to find a place where they can be restored .
All you got to do is call us and we will be willing to help through teachings and  other good means that can be offered.  God gave specific directions to William smith his servant who inturn had a burden to do the work of the Lord .Today teen challenge is in Tanzania.

We also issue certificates upon completion of our courses after six month of which you are more than welcome if you want to stay and continue to do the work of God.
Teen challenge is a non profit organization so if you feel led to assist in any way or from you are more than welcome to do that  via e mail or call us and we will be happy to accept your donations.

Children’s Ministry

The Cathedral of Joy Church, under the leadership of pastor and apostle John Komanya has  a burden to serve God in the area of children’s ministry. The Cathedral of Joy Church located in Maryland, U.S.A. with branches in Tanzania has started this ministry to care for children especially those who are orphans who are facing a strong obstacle especially after loosing their parents in Tanga ,Tanzania Pastor John Komanya  has that burden after loosing one of his parents (father) who was a great help in his life .As of now we have secured a plot  which has 60 hector  where by we will build a school  as well as dormitories for those children in Morogoro,Tanzania and so that you know some of these kids have been affected by aids, HIV but by the grace of God we help them and teach them the right things in life ,we have children of different ages as you can see below, we do need your financial support as well as your prayer and time. If you feel led to visit the kids feel free to contact our office via e mail we will respond as soon as possible, we also accept material support such as clothes as well as books for them to learn ,if you want to donate a vehicle for these kids please contact our office via e mail .

We have also started another building project ,as a parent please think about it and see if you can support or assist these kids to further their education as well as to make a difference in their lives and the Lord will bless you. Even if you want to contribute computers for the kids you are more than welcome to do that.

Tanzania is one of the countries loved by many has become a refuge place for many, you are also welcome to see and experience the beauty of Tanzania  including Mt Kilimanjaro as well as many national parks such Ngorongor, Serengeti, lake Manyara etc.

Evangelism

We thank God for this ministry of evangelism which is the main area of our calling all who are called to the kingdom of God are given the great commission to go  into the whole world and preach the gospel. God has been faithful to us in this area , we have all the reasons to thank Him. What Cathedral of Joy does is to seek and locate those who have aburden to serve God  and are willing to be used of God in the area of evangelism ,we also organize crusades  especially when an evangelist wants to conduct meetings somewhere or go to another country to minister we are willing to make those arrangements to facilitate the work of the Lord ,through pastor and apostle John komanya ,Jesus is able to do  it and help different ministers in different places around the globe. Also we support missions and sending of missionaries to different countries especially those that we work together in bringing souls to the kingdom of God Most of these countries need missionaries to work there now if the Lord puts a burden for you to go there please feel free to contact us  so that we may send you and support you to be a blessing to others, and those countries are as follow, TANZANIA, KENYA, UGANDA, MALAWI, UGANDA, MOZAMBIQUE, ZIMBABWE, SOUTH AFRICA, CONGO, ZAIRE, ETHIOPIA, MALAYSIA, AND SUDAN.

Training
(Bible Training and Leadership)

In this area  we do prepare the laborers to go to the field as of now we have a Bible College which teaches and prepares ministers to go to the field and to teach them about the calling we have We also invite different teachers  who are well equipped with the word of God. The college is called C.J.B.C.  and is located in Tanzania which has a
link with Break Through Bible College in America. Our college offers Degree and Diplomas in Theology, and these college is under the leadership of apostle John Komanya the founder and president of this ministry in collaboration with Dr Anthony t. Mays ,(PhD). We both shared our visions and  established a platform for others to learn the word of God.

Social Services

We try our best in serving the need of our societies especially spiritually ,for its easy to meet the physical needs when the spiritual ones are taken care of ,for Jesus had said love your neighbor.  We thank God for the partners we have who help us touch others as we move on please join us to work together in helping our societies. Even as we develop our communities.

A reflection of Gods Love

We do make sure that as people of God who are saved by his grace  and with his great love ,we are supposed to show  the love  of Jesus  to those who do not know him, we are blessed so we can bless others  because when God blesses you its important to bless others by helping them through  building schools, pay for tuition fees for those who are not
able, find jobs for those in need and help them to show  the way so they can also be able to be self employed, to build wells for clean water in the villages and remote areas ,to help malaria victims in any way we can, help aids victims and to help them in their daily life and help them manage life. Even to help those who are addicted to drugs and prostitution that’s why we have started the teen challenge ministry. We also teach music, praise and worship, this is done through a link from a school of Music based in the United States of America This will help our society especially the young people and they will stay away from trouble.
